—Más que una misión cumplida, el primer objetivo era clasificarme para los cuartos de final. Ganar a Aitor Aranguren (22-6) me daba la oportunidad de jugar tres partidos contra los de arriba. Una vez que alcanzas la liguilla, la meta es seguir avanzando. Intentas ir día a día, sin mirar demasiado al futuro, porque te puedes llevar chascos. Gané los dos primeros partidos –contra Peio Etxeberria (22-19) y Joseba Ezkurdia (10-22)– y me salieron las cuentas. Estoy contento.
