Iker Salaberria: “Antes era más importante la pegada”

Iker Salaberria (Goizueta, 1999) disputa este sábado su segunda final del Manomanista de Promoción consecutiva y quiere la txapela ante Bakaikoa

No empezaron las cosas bien en el Manomanista de Promoción para Iker Salaberria. El finalista de 2022 encajó un 22-10 ante Javier Zabala que le puso las cosas cuesta arriba en la liguilla de cuartos de final. El navarro se revolvió con dos victorias consecutivas: ante Larrazabal (22-19) y Agirre (18-22). El delantero de Amurrio, en un remontada espectacular sobre el potente delantero riojano –levantó un 20-4–, benefició a Salaberria y le dio el pase a las semifinales, donde tumbó a Egiguren V (15-22). En su segunda cita por el título, el goizuetarra espera tocar la gloria este sábado, a partir de las 17.15 horas. Joanes Bakaikoa, delantero de mentón de cemento, espera en el Labrit de Iruñea.
